In November, at the Sustainable Agriculture Summit in Anaheim, California, Chuck White spoke as part of a panel about Leveraging Corporate, Farmer and Conservation Collaboration to Expand Regenerative Practices with The Nature Conservancy in Iowa.
Along with representatives from Mosiac and Houston Engineering, Inc., White served as the farmer voice representing the Northwest Iowa Agriculture Stewardship Alliance (NIASA) to speak about the effort in Iowa for farmers to implement regenerative agricultural practices.
On Chuck’s farm, they utilize no-till and strip-till practices, cover crops and livestock manure application.
“The practices we implement on our farm provides the best soil health possibilities for our crops to grow at their highest potential. We implement these practices because it is not only good for us and the soil, but it helps to keep the soil healthy for future generations that farm this land,” said White. “On our farm, we don’t try to make things better but we work at it. That means change and we welcome change as long as it betters our operation.”
Following the panel and discussion, Chuck was pleased to see the great response and questions from attendees.
“I was extremely humbled and honored to represent the farmers in Northwest Iowa on behalf of the Nature Conservancy and NIASA while out at the Sustainable Agriculture Summit in California,” White said.
The Sustainable Agriculture Summit was held in Anaheim, California on November 18th and 19th, 2025.
