Chuck White Recognized as Advocate for Iowa Agriculture
Spencer, Iowa – Iowa Soybean Farmer and owner of Agriland Inc, Chuck White, was recognized by the Iowa Soybean Association for his efforts as an advocate for Iowa agriculture. He was among 8 individuals who were recognized during the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) annual awards luncheon and ceremony held on December 18th, in Ankeny, Iowa.
When talking with those who want to learn about the story of agriculture, he says, “It is not only about facts, it is about how we as farmers and our farm families [tell the story] of how we are invested in this land and how we live there and work there and we want to have a safe and sustainable environment.”
As a soybean farmer and former ISA director, Chuck has helped connect Iowa farmers to the consumers by openly educating about the agricultural industry and the importance it has in local and global markets. He has continuously opened his own operation to the consumers looking to learn through hands-on experience.
“You have to get out there and talk to consumers because they are always interested in what you’re doing on your farms,” said White. “They are always interested in what you’re doing.”
